We are proud to announce the arrival of a new Australian product to Bay Beans - Bondi Chai.
A blend of comfort spices with the added richness of vanilla and the natural warmth and sweetness of honey. Makes 25 serves.
Bondi Chai is a seriously delicious, creamy-smooth blend of milk, black tea, honey, vanilla and exotic 'comfort' spices which tastes superb and is 'almost addictive' - usually served latte-style. Because it’s a powder, Bondi Chai is very versatile and easy to use and stores in its foil packs for at least 2 years. 'Chai' is the generic word for tea in many Asian and middle-east countries. In India it is a brewed, spiced, milky tea that was created for the Kings of India and has since become ‘India’s gift to the world’!

A new video has been added to Bay Beans 'TIPS' - Espresso walk-through. Sit back, relax and watch a short walk though on how to make an espresso coffee from a domestic coffee machine. Espresso is also the base for Flat white, cappuccino short black or long black. The machine used is a Rancilio Silvia and the grinder is a Sunbeam EM480 Cafe Series grinder. Aim for a consistent grind, an extraction lasting 25-30 seconds and a resulting espresso of 30mls.

I have added two great new coffee beans to the store at Bay Beans coffee. Super Crema has thick strong crema, medium body with a nutty aftertaste, a blend using a base of the super crema bean of the Indian monsoon Malabar. Forte, is a Guatemulan based coffee bean. A strong coffee with refined acidity, subtle cocoa texture, gentle spice flavors and a sweet aftertaste. An award winning blend.
