If you live within an hour commute from Surry Hills, which extends as far as Glebe some days, why not check out one of the many great cafes as named in the SMH Good Cafe Guide awards. Okay, I am a little concerned that Sydney, with exception to only a small percentage of cafes reviewed, is classified as being within a 10km radius of Surry Hills. Norton St doesn't get a mention - that's just too far west perhaps? All this would be true, if not for the WINNER, based at Parramatta - just a short bus trip to Town Hall, train to Circular Quay and a rivercat out to Parramatta, hop-skip and a jump away.
